Sourcing

Well, it turns out that by contacting some of these websites I feel like suddenly I need to be selling sunglasses.  Not because I think it is a good opportunity, but because I feel bad for getting all this information and folks sending me messages about pricing and I'm a people pleaser. It's a thing. (And my future isn't *that* bright to buy 100 pairs of aviator sunglasses)

So, instead of feeling more certain about my direction, I feel more confused and unsure about what I should do. I know that dropshipping is going to be the way to go if I decide to do t-shirts. I also have a huge ability to create due to being a graphic designer. I've created stickers for other sellers that outsourced production to China and sold on Amazon. I'm realizing I have been in this "make the pretty thing" position but not in the "get the pretty thing made" position. Heck, I made die cuts for gold vinyl stickers that were sold on Amazon to be used as dorm decorations. It was really all about the packaging (which I made) and the branding (which I made) to have it look legit and well-made.

I'm starting to wonder if I sold myself short this whole time. I get that I am on the right path now and hindsight is 20/20. So, what in the world can I make now? Sure, I can dropship but eventually, I would like to outsource, do a solid order from China, and make a better profit - the product needs to be something that isn't limited too much by trends. If I build a true e-commerce store the likes of Elevated Faith - but more quirky? Something that appeals to the religious geek? Talk about a niche market, right?

Anyway, hopefully, this will eventually be me. :D
